Green Growth partners start work on mobile app

The fourth project meeting took place in Liège on 23rd and 24th June at the facilities of Green Growth’s Belgian partner.

The project partners met last week in Belgium at the Centre IFAPME Liège-Huy-Verviers to discuss the next steps of the project to improve circular economy training in the construction sector in Europe.

The two-day meeting reviewed the status of the project, discussed the next steps of the initiative and presented some of its results. The Green Growth partners presented the MOOC for teachers in the sector on circular competences and discussed the implementation of a pilot in each country of the consortium, in which a total of 75 teachers (15 per country) are expected to participate and validate the contents of the MOOC. This activity is planned to take place between July and September.

In addition, the results of the first phases of the project were presented: the manual for trainers and the document of good practices; and the field work necessary for the design of the mobile application on circular economy in the refurbishment and renovation of buildings was organised. A first work plan of the Roadmap addressed to training centres to manage and include the circular economy as a transversal subject in their training plans was also presented.
