Green Growth recognised for its leadership in the fight against climate change and environmental protection
Fundación Laboral de la Construcción has been acknowledged for its management of Erasmus+ projects, with the aim of sharing knowledge and promoting the transfer of its experience to other participants in the European programme.
Through the European project ‘Green Growth’, Fundación Laboral de la Construcción was recognised for “its outstanding work in coordinating relevant projects in the fight against climate change and environmental protection” by Spain’s National VET Team, coordinated by the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE).
The recognition was awarded during a meeting held on 6 May at the Fundación’s Training Centre in Vicálvaro (Madrid), where the organisation’s best practices in managing Erasmus+ projects were shared, with the goal of facilitating knowledge transfer among programme participants.
During the event, the ‘Green Growth’ project was highlighted for its innovative approach to integrating the circular economy as a transversal competence in construction training. The project has developed a range of training tools, including a handbook on circular economy in the sector, an online course for teachers, a mobile app for workers and SMEs, and a roadmap for the implementation of circular economy practices in VET centres.
